Supporting Basic Education For All

We founded the Three Daughters Foundation in 2018 to address the dire needs of primary and secondary students in rural Punjab. As members of the community, we have first-hand insight into the conditions of Punjab’s poverty.

We are on the ground to understand the trends in the state’s education system. We speak with teachers, students, and families. We exchange ideas with policymakers to advocate for rural students. We know that we can do more to bring the world closer to universal primary and secondary education.

We believe that the only we can do that is if we increase enrollment. We have to change the conditions for rural students in Punjab if we want them to truly excel.

Vision

Universal primary and secondary education for students in rural India.

Future Goals

A campaign to educate families on the importance of a primary and secondary education, which involves town hall-like meetings and other community events

Develop a mentorship program that connects us with students beyond giving resources, like connecting students with professionals to learn about future careers

Provide scholarships for students who demonstrate an exemplary commitment to higher-learning

Adopt up to 10 schools to transform them into modern learning facilities by providing equipment needed
